2022 New Grad Training, From the Basics to Tech!

In April 2022, Rakuten welcomed 773 new graduates as employees, including both business and engineer employees.

RNN went to observe the first offline training forl business recruits in two years. Trainees set out across Japan for their on-the-job training, putting up stickers signifying Rakuten Pay availability and Rakuten Mobile connectivity in stores and greatly surpassing their assigned KPIs! In addition, a hackathon was held as the conclusion of the training program, where the new recruits competed to design an app that would be useful within Rakuten Group.
