As Rakuten Group celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, we take a look back at the history of the cafeterias that have supported employees' health and well-being over the years. In Rakuten's early days, staff eating habits were a serious issue, and realizing that a change was needed, employee meals were introduced at the Roppongi office in 2006.
