Rakuten Eagles Opening Home Game of 2018

For the Rakuten Eagles opening game of the season, the stadium was packed and rocking with the intense home support. The day's opponents were the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. In tribute to the memory of former manager Senichi Hoshino, who'd recently passed away the coaching, playing and operational staff wore his uniform number "77" throughout the game.
