On July 6, 2017, a press conference was held at the Kobe Portopia Hotel to mark the arrival of world famous player Lukas Podolski. Nicknamed "Poldi," Podolski is a former German international forward who's well known for his powerful left-footed shot and has represented his country 130 times (third in all-time appearances).
